Our Story

Knockrow isn't a place most people have heard of, and if they have, it's probably because they like to cruise the Hinterland Way rather than the highway on their way down to the beach.

Knockrow sits between Ballina and Byron Bay, home to a couple of hundred people, overlooking fields of sugar cane, Lennox Head and the Pacific Ocean. So it makes sense we are a distillery that makes cane based spirits.

We could talk about ancient soil, coastal microclimates and the spring water on the farm. All of it's true. None of it's really the point.

We just want to make great spirits from ingredients sourced as close to home as possible.
